Starting a PG journey
Project management and time planning
The postgraduate journey is a project – and projects need to be managed effectively in order for them to be completed on time. This video outlines project management principles that apply to managing postgraduate studies and guides supervisors in terms of guiding their students as they plan their projects. The video also outlines how postgraduate supervision workloads are projects which also need to be managed.
Colette Gerards at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam put together this presentation based on input from Prof Sioux McKenna and Dr Henk van den Heuvel. The material was originally developed for a postgraduate supervision course.
